SANDS POINT POLICE

There are currently twenty-one sworn members of the Sands Point Police Department which includes the Chief of Police, one Inspector, four Sergeants and fifteen Police Officers.  The Sands Point Police serve a community with a population of over 4,000 residents and an area covering three and one half square miles.  The Departments main division is patrol and also includes specialized units such as traffic enforcement, juvenile aid and School Resource Officer.
